Great authentic Mexican food. Outstanding tacos and enchiladas. Flavor of the pork tacos was excellent. We will definitely be back very soon.

My favorite Mexican food in the Heber area! I had a weird craving about 2 years ago to try some fish taco's, but I didn't really have a local place that I used. I went into this place, ordered the fish-taco's and they were fabulicious!! I loved them, I love this restaurant and always get them here! (I don't think I'd even be willing to venture elsewhere for my Fish-Taco's because they are SO GOOD!) My friends have also gotten all the usual items here: Taco's, Chimichanga's, burritos and they all raved about how yummy everything was too :) Cheers!

I love this place!!! Family run and operated. The food is fresh and "home made" not canned!!!! Food is made to order!! Carnitas and nachos are amazing. My husband swears by the carne asada. I have cravings for their carnitas tostadas (2 on a plate). Not fancy, can dine in or take out. Right behind the Dominos (plastic pizza) is the best food in Heber - don't miss out.

What a surprise! We are traveling from California and found this whole in the wall Mexican restaurant. Ordered the Fajitas de Cameron (shrimp) and it was absolutely delicious. At least a dozen good size shrimp. The help yourself salsa was very tasty too! Very authentic!

I absolutely love this place both for dining in and takeout. I recommend the pork carnitas. I've eaten here probably 10 times and have never been disappointed.

I love the french fries! Sounds wierd I know reviewing a taco place and saying love the french fries, but they ARE very good. I also get the pulled pork (carnitas?) tacos and/or burritos. yum yum. Very tender and juicy. This little resturant is low-keyed and casual. Don't expect a waitress...you order from the counter but someone (usually the owner) will bring you your order. This also a neat little place for small birthday party. really! Not much seating but you could put a couple of the larger tables (that seat 6) together and there you go, your own little party. You don't need reservations..just bring a big appetite because the servings are large. You like hot sauce! They have it..even thier MILD salsa has a kick, so beware :)

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
